Jacquie has four children, three of whom are at St. Martin’s Ampleforth and one is at Ampleforth College. Jacquie lives in Gilling East. She owns and runs The Pheasant Hotel in Harome which is just a few miles from the school.

A mother of 4 children and grandmother of 5. She was a parent at both Gilling and Ampleforth. She is a trained Primary school teacher and adult education tutor and also a trained marriage counselor. She spent some 20 years in the Parenting Support sector, working for Parenting UK and the National Academy of Parenting Practitioners until her retirement in February 2009. She is a keen linguist and enjoys meeting people from all over the world; her languages are Russian, German and French. She lives in Whenby on an organic farm where her husband rears and finishes beef cattle and sheep.

A Governor of St Martins Ampleforthfor two years. On the board of the St Martins Trust which provides selective monetary grants to the school. Both children have attended St Martins, and subsequently St Martin's Ampleforth, from nursery age and have now moved on from Amplefoth College. He lives in the Ampleforth area which allows him to have some knowledge of the impressions of the school in the geographical area in which it operates. Professionally, a partner in a firm of Patent and Trade Mark attorneys and practices as a Chartered British and European Patent Attorney so can provide some legal and commercial experience to the Board of Governors.
