Dragons and diners
On Sunday night, boarders took a trip to the Orient - courtesy of the catering team and boarding staff. Noodles, sweet and sour pork, egg-fried rice, spring rolls and other mouth-watering Chinese appetisers were on offer to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Dragon. The pupils were eager to try their skill with chopsticks - guided by 'masters' Rex Lei and Michael Chan. Food was complemented by surrounding decor - with lanterns and a range of suitably striking and fierce dragons on hand to guard the refectory.
Pre-prep also celebrated Chinese New year making char sui bau, (steamed barbecue pork buns) eating fortune cookies and drinking green tea
.
