Pirates of Penzance

The Year 8 children of St. Martin’s Ampleforth School ended the school year with a swashbuckling cheer. The end of year play, the Pirates of Penzance, was spectacular. The production was great for a strong cast of principle singers and was backed by a full orchestra. The Gilbert & Sullivan production contains some very demanding music and was skilfully dealt with by the cast of twelve and thirteen year olds.

“The production was an amazing achievement for such young performers” said Mr. Nicholas Higham, Headmaster.
