Marie Curie Pots of Care

The children in Pre-Prep have been caring for Marie Curie daffodil bulbs that were planted in individual pots during the Michaelmas term.   Last week the children decorated the flower pot sleeves beautifully and we ran a small competition to judge the best pot sleeve.   Mrs. Waley, our Art Teacher, thought that Leon's pot sleeve was very colourful and striking.

The pots of daffodils have been sent home along with a donation envelope to help raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.  The money raised will help Marie Curie Nurses care for people with terminal cancer and illnesses in their homes and provide emotional support for their families.   The care they provide is totally free.
