The Friends of St. Martin's Ampleforth
The Friends of St. Martin's Ampleforth aims to support and develop good relations between the parent body, staff and pupils across the whole school by providing a welcoming and friendly environment to help settle new parents into the St. Martin’s Ampleforth community.
The group engages in fundraising activities for projects to enhance the educational provision of St. Martin’s Ampleforth pupils. These projects provide facilities or resources above and beyond those which the school should be expected to provide.
They also administer and run the ‘Draw’, which takes place once a month. Subscribers pay £10/mth and a monthly prize of £100 is awarded each time.
Lastly, the Friends offer the valuable service of organising the collection, storage and sale of second-hand uniform on behalf of the school.
Membership of the committee is open to all parents, grandparents or guardians of pupils at St. Martin’s Ampleforth.
