Pastoral Life

Our goal is to produce courteous, independent-minded and well rounded thirteen year olds ready to move on with confidence and self-belief.

The Headmaster and his team take responsibility for pupils twenty-four hours a week, seven days a week, very seriously, as do all good boarding schools. They view the pastoral care and social development of the children as being central to their purpose. Boys and girls are able to flourish and develop their self-confidence from the adult support they receive.

Discipline is firm and fair; the aim being  a reward-based environment rather than one which is punishment-led.
