Boarding

Boarders are accommodated in bright and cheerful rooms in both The Castle (Senior Boys) and the purpose-built Foal Yard (Girls and Junior Boys). Current and former pupils never forget the pleasures of sleeping in a castle, nor do they forget the friendships forged in these exciting days.
 
With over 80 boarders, St Martin's Ampleforth has one of the largest, if not the largest, boarding contingent of any prep school in the North of England.

Nine resident teachers, matrons and boarding assistants ensure that the boarding supervision and pastoral care is of the highest order.
